My name is Wyatt Goodale, I grew up roaming the woods on a rural farm outside Iowa City, IA. In 2022, I graduated with a professional photography degree from The Isaacson School for New Media at Colorado Mountain College. I worked as a photographer for New Thought Digital Agency in Jackson, Wyoming, and also for The University of Iowa student newspaper–The Daily Iowan. In the fall of 2025, I moved to Sonoma County, California, where I interned at Lambert Bridge Winery. Here I fell in love with winemaking and California's natural beauty. I am currently based in Windsor, California.
Early exposure to science, education, and the outdoors compelled me to capture the alluring realities of natural life. Life is special; we do not know why, but we are here regardless through greater powers. Photography is an ode to these higher powers, capturing and telling little stories of this beautiful, bizarre life on earth. Photos express what it means to be alive and human; they preserve the special moments in the story of our lives. My work seeks to document how we live and serve as a time capsule for future generations.
